This article will assist you in setting the printers IP address to auto configure. This is done on the printer’s front panel.

The menu Panel:

1. Press the Green Tick button to the right of the menu window and this will open up to the Menu page

2. Once in the Menu scroll down to CONFIGURE DEVICE and press the Green Tick. You scroll by pressing the arrow buttons above and below the Green Tick and to the left is the return button.

3. In the Configure Device menu scroll down to I/O and press the Green Tick.

4. In the I/O menu scroll down to EIO 2 JETDIRECT MENU and press the Green Tick.

5. In the EIO 2 menu select TCP/IP and press the Green Tick.

6. In the TCP/IP menu scroll down to CONFIG METHOD and press the Green Tick.

7. In the Config Method menu scroll down and select DHCP and press the Green Tick.

8. You will prompted with a Setting saved screen and once the settings have been saved you will be sent back to the Config Method screen. Press the return button until you get back to the Ready screen (in step 1).

9. Power Cycle the printer. To do this turn off the power, wait for 30 seconds and then turn the power back on.

Once the Printer has powered back up it is a good idea to print off the new configurations. The steps to do this are below.

1. Press the Green Tick button to the right of the menu window and this will open up to the Menu page, scroll down to INFORMATION and press the Green Tick.

2. In the Information menu select PRINT CONFIGURATION and press the Green Tick. This will print a page with all of the configurations.
