Setting Up a POP3 E-mail Account in Outlook 2003
This knowledge base article will assist you in setting up a POP3 email account in Outlook 2003
1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > E-mail Accounts.
2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select “Add a new e-mail account” and click Next.
3. For your server type, select “POP3” and click Next.
4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter your information as follows:
Your Name:
E-mail Address: email@yourdomain.com.au
User Name: email@yourdomain.com.au
Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account: ********
Tick the remember password box.
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com.au
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com.au or your internet providers (ISP)

5. Click Test Account Settings – ensure you get all green ticks. Click Ok.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Finish.
